  • 6 a.m. Medical emergency in the 9290 block of Cale Road in Martin County. An 86-year-old female was suffering stomach pain
  • 6:05 a.m. Medical emergency in the 1550 block of Sieboldt Quarry Road. A 60-year-old male was suffering a diabetic issue
  • 7:36 a.m. Request for a welfare check at Johnny Junxions. A male was passed out in his car. Police say the male was waiting for his girlfriend to get off work
  • 8:20 a.m. Controlled fire in the 280 block of South Leatherwood Road
  • 8:24 a.m. Police made extra patrols at Friendship Park in Mitchell
  • 8:51 a.m. Report of an erratic driver in a green F250 westbound at State Road 158 in Fayetteville. The vehicle turned onto Fayetteville Coxton Road then turned onto Twin Ponds Road and went westbound on Stumphole Bridge Road and pulled into a driveway and went inside a home
  • 9:33 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 58 East at West Powerline Road
  • 9:03 a.m. Medical emergency in the 800 block of Cassidy Lane. A 71-year-old was having trouble breathing

  • 10:13 a.m. 911 call in the 690 block of Bedford street. It was an accidental call

  • 11:04 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Wesley Chapel Road
  • 11:10 a.m. Theft in the 1010 block of West Grissom Road
  • 11:32 a.m. Request for a welfare check in the 2270 block of Rariden Hill. Kids were playing by the road and waving signs at cars. Police were unable to locate the kids
  • 12:24 o,n, Report of a suspicious male in a white pickup exiting a vehicle with a gun at the Hickory Ridge Horse Camp
  • 1:24 p.m. Domestic fight in the 290 block of Stevens Lane. The caller has been attacked by a juvenile. The 15-year-old male juvenile from Mitchell was arrested on charges of intimidation, domestic battery
  • 3:08 p.m. 911 call in the 1010 block of Sportsman Club Road. It was an accidental call
  • 3:20 p.m. Controlled fire in the 810 block of Carter Avenue
  • 3:25 p.m. Theft at 3M Storage on Peerless Road. The caller says her ex-boyfriend paid the owner to cut the lock off the storage unit and removed items
  • 3:29 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 800 block of Spice Valley Road to check on a female who is screaming
  • 3:39 p.m. 911 call at an unknown location. Dispatch was unable to make contact with the caller
  • 3:45 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 130 block of TV Tower Road. Children phoned the caller saying they are afraid to go downstairs because their mother and her boyfriend are doing drugs. The father of the children then called and reported the same. Indiana State Police responded and the children were okay. It is believed the mother and male were in a dispute
  • 3:54 p.m. Medical emergency in the 100 block of Frank Street. A 94-year-old was injured and bleeding
  • 4:03 p.m. Report of a missing person at Spring Mill State Park at Sycamore Shelterhouse. Two teens were missing and have been gone for about half an hour. The teens were located at 4:14 p.m.
  • 4:28 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a black Honda Civic westbound on US 50 East. Police followed the vehicle for more than five miles and witnessed no violations
  • 4:45 p.m. Trespassing in the 5520 block of Old Farm Road. A male was on station requesting a no trespass order against a female
  • 4:51 p.m. Agency assist at 11th and West Main streets in Mitchell
  • 5 p.m. Countywide volunteer fire department weekly radio test
  • 5:24 p.m. 911 call in the 130 block of Briar Avenue. A small child could be heard in the background. Police could not get anyone to come to the door
  • 5:25 p.m. Report of vandalism in the 2090 block of Spice Valley Road. Someone dumped dirt in the caller’s pool filter and stripped the electrical lines and broke water lines under his house
  • 5:31 p.m. Request for animal control for a black lab running along State Road 37 near Judah
  • 5:40 p.m. A male juvenile was transported to the Bartholomew County Juvenile Detention Center
  • 5:51 p.m. Controlled fire in the 600 block of Hickory Grove Road
  • 5:52 p.m. Controlled fire in the 4020 block of Port Williams Road
  • 6:56 p.m. Report of erratic drivers on multiple four-wheelers and dirt bikes driving along the roadway in the 1500 block of Vinegar Hill Road. Police were unable to find them
  • 7:02 p.m. Traffic stop at Doc Hamilton Boulevard and Industrial Drive
  • 7:10 p.m. Battery in the 500 block of Plum Street. The caller says a male has assaulted her husband. The male was arrested
  • 7:35 p.m. 911 call from an unknown location. It was an accidental call
  • 8:19 p.m. Controlled fire in the 4390 block of State Road 158
  • 8:19 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 500 block of Plum Street
  • 8:32 p.m. Controlled fire in the 740 block of State Road 37
  • 8:46 p.m. Fire alarm sounding at Persimmon Park Apartments. Mitchell VFD responded. It was a false alarm due to someone cooking
  • 8:57 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 110 block of West Warren Street
  • 9:16 p.m. Report of debris in the roadway at State Road 37 and Trogdon Lane. The large pieces of insulation and chairs were taken out of the roadway
  • 9:23 p.m. 911 call from the 20 block of Timberland Pass. It was an accidental call
  • 9:46 p.m. Agency assist in the 4100 block of Mitchell Road
  • 10:03 p.m. 911 call from State Road 60 East in Washington County. Washington County Police was alerted
  • 10:05 p.m. Traffic stop at Mill Creek Road and Doc Hamilton Boulevard
  • 10:10 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at Salt Creek bridge
  • 10:56 p.m. Medical emergency in the 4870 block of US 50 East. A 42-year-old female was suffering a seizure
  • 11:18 p.m. Report of a suicidal person at Persimmon Park Apartments. A female has poked herself with a nail after fighting with her boyfriend. The female was transported to a local hospital
  • 11:41 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at the Sinclair station
  • 11:42 p.m. Traffic stop at East Oolitic and Peerless roads
  • 11:44 a.m. Traffic stop at US 50 East and State Road 336

  • 12:15 a.m. Officers were out with a vehicle at Vista Drive at the stone quarry
  • 12:33 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at Salt Creek bridge. A male was arrested on drug charges and the vehicle
  • 1:30 a.m. Citizen assist at the Marathon gas station on State Road 37. A man wanted to speak to an officer about his ex-girlfriend being covered in oil in a video

Accidents – Sept. 9

  • 4:44 a.m. Car/deer accident at State Road 58 West and Armstrong Station Road. The driver was arrested
  • 2:38 p.m. Accident with injuries in the 330 block of State Road 58 East. Shawswick VFD responded. Air Evac responded

  • 5:47 p.m. Jamisha Pantoja, 26, 617 T St., operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a blood-alcohol level of 0.15 or above, OWI controlled substance, driving while driver’s license suspended with a prior conviction
