South Bend Community Re-Entry Employee Receives Challenge Coin

(SOUTH BEND) – Warden Charles Bowen and South Bend Community Re-Entry are pleased to announce Steven Fox has received an Indiana Department of Correction Training challenge coin. 

South Bend Community Re-Entry Center Officer Steven Fox was recently presented with an Indiana Department of Correction Training Coin by Northern Regional Training Manager Elizabeth Donnelly for being the “most impactful” field training officer. This coin was presented to Mr. Fox in appreciation for his outstanding contributions to the Field Training Program. Mr. Fox assists all new incoming correctional officers during their on the job training phase assisting them in learning daily duties and encouraging career development with the Indiana Department of Correction.

Warden Bowen stated, “We are all proud of Officer Fox. He does a great job as our Field Training Officer and new staff are fortunate to have him for their orientation to corrections.”

Indiana Department of Correction’s division of Staff Development and Training surveyed new staff over the last year who stated Officer Fox is known for his positive attitude. Please join us in congratulating Mr. Fox for his excellent achievement!
