Putnamville Correctional Facility Welcomes Two Staff to Re-Entry Division

(GREENECASTLE) – Warden Brian Smith and Putnamville Correctional Facility are proud to welcome Jacob Foley and Shelby Hull to the re-entry division as correctional caseworkers.

Jacob Foley started with the Indiana Department of Correction in October of 2013 and promoted to Sergeant in December of 2017. He has worked in the dormitories, count room, control, towers, and previous served as Emergency Response Operations squad leader. Additionally, he is certified in: quick response teams, trips, and handgun.  Jacob transferred to Rockville Correctional Facility as a caseworker in 2018 and recently returned Putnamville Correctional Facility in the same role. Foley holds a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education.

Shelby Hull began her career at Putnamville Correctional Facility in May of 2016. Since she has been certified in: quick response team, handgun, field training officer, CPR instructor, count room, and control room. Shelby was promoted to sergeant in April of 2018. She recently received a Commissioner’s coin for her multiple recruitment of officers at Putnamville. Shelby was promoted to caseworker in August of this year.
