(MITCHELL) – The Mitchell Community Public Library will be closed in observance of Labor Day Monday but reopens Tuesday at 9 a.m. with fun programs and activities planned for September.

Lego Club
Due to the holiday, Lego Club will meet Sept. 9 at 3:30 p.m. Skyscrapers are the subject of September’s club time. How do they get them so high and not fall over? How do wind and earthquakes affect them? Look some up before you come and share what you discovered.
Kids Paint
Sign-ups are still going on for Kids Paint for preschool through first grade on Sept. 10 at 5 p.m. Paints, canvas and snacks are provided. Call 849-2412 or stop by the library to get your child’s name on the list.
