(BEDFORD) – A missing Mitchell woman is now behind bars after the Lawrence County Drug Task Force found her during a drug investigation.
Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department deputies have been searching for 41-year-old Rebecca Edmonson, also known as Rebecca Barlow, since she went missing on Aug. 24.
Edmonson was found at a residence in the 1200 block of Stevens Lane on Wednesday night after the drug task force secured a search warrant for the home based on drug information.
Edmonson was found in possession of a white-powder substance that tested meth. She also had syringes, smoking devices with meth residue in them, and smoking devices with marijuana residue.
Edmonson was arrested without incident on charges of possession of meth, unlawful possession of a syringe, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia.
