  • 9:40 a.m. Document service in the 20 block of Trinton Avenue
  • 9:52 a.m. A resident in the 200 block of East Hancock Avenue reported finding property that belonged to a female in his yard. The owner came and got the items
  • 10:21 a.m. Medical emergency in the 2110 block of N Street. A 78-year-old was having trouble breathing
  • 10:41 a.m. Report of an erratic driver in a blue van at State Road 37 and turned onto US 50 West. Police were unable to locate the vehicle
  • 11:22 a.m. Traffic stop at Springville Judah Road and Meadowbrook Drive
  • 11:27 a.m. Request for a welfare check on a female in the 410 block of East Hancock Avenue in Mitchell. The female was fine. She was sleeping

  • 1:23 p.m. Report of a possible impaired driver in a white Impala seen pulling into the Arby’s parking lot. Police say the driver was fine
  • 1:39 p.m. Report of a suspicious person at Stonegate Court. A male in his 20s is stumbling around in a yard. The male is in hospital gown
  • 2:03 p.m. Traffic stop at Meridian Road and Doc Hamilton Boulevard
  • 2:08 p.m. A person was on station to report possible child abuse
  • 2:53 p.m. A woman was on station about a child custody issue in the 270 block of Guthrie Bend Road
  • 4:08 p.m. Report of an abandoned vehicle in the 710 block of Mississippi Avenue in Mitchell. The vehicle was tagged
  • 4:42 p.m. Traffic stop at Dixie Highway at the cemetery. A citation was issued for speeding
  • 4:47 p.m. Request for extra patrols in the 2910 block of State Road 37 at McDonald’s. An employee accidentally dropped a customer’s debit card into the Ronald McDonald’s House donation box at the drive-through and the customer has become irate and threatened to remove the donation box himself and stating “he is not afraid to go back to jail”

  • 5:02 p.m. Disabled vehicle at State Road 37 and Dixie Highway
  • 5:03 p.m. Tree limb was blocking the roadway in the 1900 block of Little Salt Creek Road
  • 5:10 p.m. Report of two drivers in pickup trucks weaving in and out of traffic southbound on State Road 37 from Fifth Street
  • 5:18 p.m. Disabled vehicle at US 50 West and Woodsferry Road
  • 5:36 p.m. Traffic stop in the 710 block of Stars Boulevard
  • 5:53 p.m. Report of a large tree limb on utility lines in the 320 block of West Vine Street. The lines are hanging down creating a traffic hazard. Duke Energy was alerted

  • 6:11 p.m. 911 call in the 440 block of North Pike Road. The female caller was having an issue with an ex-boyfriend moving out but does not need an officer. But the caller was being very hesitant about giving any other information. The caller text back saying there was a physical domestic fight going on
  • 6:14 p.m. Domestic fight in the 440 block of North Pike Road. A male was at the home and becoming physical. The male left the home
  • 6:28 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 550 block of Reuter Lane
  • 6:50 p.m. Parking problem in the 810 block of Smith Avenue in Oolitic
  • 7:18 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a black Hyundai Tucson southbound on State Road 37 from Monroe County
  • 7:21 p.m. Traffic stop in the 280 block of State Road 60 East. The driver was cited for a fictitious license plate
  • 7:27 p.m. The caller reported they are stuck inside the locked gates of the Recreation Park
  • 7:37 p.m. Traffic stop in the 1300 block of West Main Street at the Dollar Tree in Mitchell
  • 7:49 p.m. Traffic stop at North 8th and West Main Street in Mitchell
  • 7:53 p.m. Traffic stop at 15th and I streets. A citation was issued for a seatbelt violation
  • 8:18 p.m. Request for animal control to State Road 158 at the church for multiple black Angus cattle out
  • 8:49 p.m. Report of the theft of a vehicle at Flippin Out Gymnastics on South 8th Street in Mitchell
  • 8:56 p.m. Request for animal control in the 550 block of Patton Hill Road. The caller says the neighbor’s dogs are running loose and chasing her cat.
  • 9:13 p.m. Report of an erratic drier in a pickup truck driving through the cemetery in the 3290 block of Dixie Highway
  • 9:30 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a gold Chevrolet pick up in the 1720 block of Greer Lane. Police were unable to locate the vehicle
  • 9:33 p.m. Domestic fight in the 150 block of Jefferson Street in Heltonville. The male left for the night
  • 10:22 p.m. A female inmate needed to be transported to the hospital after suffering withdrawals
