  • 7:09 a.m. Animal control in the 580 block of Easy Street. A dog is on her porch and being aggressive
  • 7:24 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols at Heltonville School
  • 7:39 a.m. Request for animal control in the 310 block of Vinegar Hill Road for two stray dogs running loose in the area
  • 7:59 a.m. Traffic stop at Heltonville baseball field
  • 8:08 a.m. Request for a welfare check in the 1440 block of Sportsman Club Road

  • 12:04 p.m. Request for animal control to the 4370 block of Old Farm Road. The caller reported a pile of dead goats on the property. No one was home. Animal control will check back later

  • 12:29 p.m. Report of an erratic driver northbound in an Enterprise box truck on State Road 37 approaching Mitchell
  • 12:31 p.m. Theft in the 680 block of Lower Leesville Road. A package was delivered by the caller’s grandson never received it.The caller believes the step-mother received it and sold it
  • 1:36 p.m. Report that a Fed Ex employee was bitten by a dog in the 10 block of Good Time Lane. The driver will wait at the intersection of Woodview Estates and Johnson Lane for animal control
  • 2:05 p.m. Citizen assist in the 140 block of Ryan Lane regarding an issue with a tenant
  • 2:06 p.m. Medical emergency in the 220 block of BNL Drive
  • 2:25 p.m. Medical emergency in the 7720 block of Leatherwood Road. A 41-year-old was having trouble breathing
  • 2:50 p.m. Request for an officer in the 490 block of Patton Hill Road. A neighbor was playing loud music
  • 3:48 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1140 block of West Warren Street. A 40-year-old was having trouble breathing and was unconscious but has regained consciousness
  • 4 p.m. Follow up investigation on State Road 446, south of State Road 58
  • 4:18 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1270 block of Washboard Road. A 24-year-old female is suffering a possible heart attack
  • 4:44 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a gray Tahoe driving at a high-rate of speed at State Road 37 at McDonald’s in Mitchell
  • 4:50 p.m. Citizen assist in the 850 block of Art Gallery Road. A woman reported her ex-husband has taken four wheelers that do not belong to him and the male has failed to return them as agreed upon
  • 5:08 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 100 block of Eastern Heights Drive. The caller’s sister is complaining that her daughter and son-in-law are stealing money and her medication. The sister is suffering from dementia and all bank records show no money was stolen. Police say no medication were stolen
  • 5:25 p.m. Citizen assist at Oolitic Middle School
  • 6:27 p.m. Citizen assist at Mitchell Police Department. A male is on station with items that he purchased at a yard sale and he thinks they may be stolen and would like an officer to check the items. The items were not stolen
  • 6:29 p.m. Warrant service in the 1200 block of West Brook Street
  • 6:33 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a burgundy Jeep southbound on State Road 37 from the Monroe County line
  • 6:39 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 20 block of Fleetwood Addition. A report was forwarded to detectives and Department of Child Services was alerted
  • 6:42 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at Salt Creek bridge
  • 6:44 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1330 block of I Street. A person was suffering chest pains
  • 6:45 p.m. Medical emergency in the 20 block of Collins Trailer Court

  • 6:54 p.m Citizen assist in the 1200 block of West Brook Street. A woman wants to speak to an officer about her brother.She does not understand how she can have a suspended driver’s license when he does not drive

  • 7:40 p.m. Unwanted person in the 40 block of Persimmon Park Apartments. A male is attempting to break down the caller’s door. Police spoke to all involved
  • 7:47 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a white SUV westbound at US 50 West and Bryantsville Road
  • 8:02 p.m. Theft of a wallet from a vehicle in the 810 block of West Oak Street. The owner was notified his debit card was used at the Sunoco gas station in Mitchell
  • 8:03 p.m. Parking problem at Fifth and Warren streets in Mitchell

  • 8:28 p.m. Warrant service in the 100 block of West Vine Street. A female was arrested
  • 8:39 p.m. Traffic stop at North 7th and West Oak streets in Mitchell
  • 8:54 p.m. Vandalism in the 800 block of Teke Burton Drive. A male was walking out of the church and saw two male juveniles run after breaking into vehicles.
  • 9:02 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at the Oolitic light
  • 9:02 p.m. Report of a puppy stuck in a floor register in the 80 block of Maddox Lane. Marshall VFD responded
  • 9:07 p.m. Traffic stop at Teke Burton Drive and West Main Street
  • 9:13 p.m. Traffic stop at L and 15th streets. The driver was arrested
  • 9:27 p.m. Theft in the 800 block of Teke Burton Drive. Items were stolen from a vehicle including a wallet
  • 9:40 p.m. Traffic stop in the 220 block of State Road 60 East
  • 10:24 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 60 and Mundy Lane
  • 10:50 p.m. Domestic fight in the 10 block of Lakeside Estates
  • 11:13 p.m. Warrant service in the 180 block of Boyd Lane. A person was arrested
  • 11:23 p.m. Traffic stop at Doc Hamilton Boulevard and Meridian Road
  • 11:26 p.m. Request for a welfare heck in the 1270 block of South Meridian Road

Incidents – Aug. 16

  • 12:26 a.m. Officers made extra patrols in the 20 block of Poplar Ridge in Springville after a report from a caller reporting chasing two people off their property. Those people were now in the woods with flashlights
  • 1:10 a.m. Report that the Shell station on State Road 37 appear to be open but there was no employee there. There was also a note on the counter from another customer along with a $20 and there were no vehicles in the parking lot. Police arrived at the station and there was no one in the store. A manager was contacted and responded to the business
  • 1:24 a.m. Medical emergency in the 1280 block of Avoca Eureka Road
  • 3:55 a.m. Report of possible drug activity in the 2630 block of Judah Logan Road. A male and female are possibly smoking meth outside. Police could not find the two
  • 4:58 a.m. Citizen assist in the 210 block of North Sixth Street in Mitchell. The caller locked their keys in their truck
