Pfau Golf Course Will Not Open Until Spring 2020

(BLOOMINGTON) – The Pfau Course at Indiana University won’t reopen to the public until spring 2020 after a decision was made to ensure the turf on the course can be established.

According to Tom Morrison, IU vice president for capital planning and facilities this spring was just too wet to give the grass a chance to grow. IU officials decided it was best to keep the course closed to the general public until next spring.

Officials hoped to have the course open in September.

The Herald-Times reports, members of the IU men’s and women’s golf teams might practice on the course before then, but no competitions are scheduled on the Bloomington course until April 2020.
