(JACKSON CO.) – A convention to narrow down the field of candidates for town council seats in Medora will be held tonight.
From 4 to 6 p.m. registered Republican voters in Medora can attend a town convention at Medora Christian Church at 76 South George St.
The ballot will contain the names of six people – Jerry Ault, Sharon Bowers, James Davers, Rhonda Freeman, Pamela Smith, and Rebecca Zirkel.
The three with the most votes will have their names placed on the November 5th general election ballot and will face Democrat candidate, Robert Thompson.
Republican residents living within the town limits are eligible to vote.
