Traffic Shift Planned Thursday on State Road 45/46 at I-69 in Bloomington

(BLOOMINGTON) – Milestone Contractors will shift all State Road 45/46 traffic to newly-constructed westbound lanes near I-69 in Bloomington on or after Thursday, August 15, weather permitting, to begin the next phase of a $5 million pavement replacement project that began in June.

Existing eastbound lanes will be closed throughout this phase of the project. All traffic will shift to westbound lanes, with one lane in each direction.

Exit ramps to and from I-69 on the north side of S.R. 45/46 will reopen Thursday, while ramps on the south side will close.

S.R. 46 EB to I-69 SB will remain open. The left turn lane from S.R. 46 WB to I-69 SB will remain closed.

Access to I-69 SB from S.R. 46 WB will continue via U-turn at the Curry Pike intersection, west of I-69.
