(BEDFORD) – Celebrations Play Center is adding a new program that strengthens early childhood education.
Registration is taking place now for Play School.
“Pre-schools and therapists have made us aware there are not enough group activities for toddlers in our community,” said owner Natasha Johns. “Our goal is to begin to lay down the basic fundamentals that toddlers will need before entering preschool.”
Session times are for toddlers between the ages of 2 to 4 years old.
- Mondays: 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
- Thursdays: 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
- Fridays: 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
“Sessions will include learning games and activities that will begin to introduce to them the routine of preschool,” she added.
Spots are limited and payment is monthly.
The cost:
- 1-2 days a week is $35
- 3 days a week is $45.
- There is a yearly enrollment fee of $20 and that also gives the child unlimited inflatable play each month if attending Play School.
“We encourage parents/caregivers to bring their laptops or books and sit to the side and relax while we encourage healthy & fun play between the children,” says Johns.
Outside food or drinks are not allowed. Socks are required. Parents/caregivers are still responsible for diaper changes.
