(BEDFORD) – The Bedford Parks Department is hosting men’s and women’s softball tournament on Saturday, August 24, 2019.
The event is sponsored by Gillespie’s 1st Place Trophies.
There is only room for 12 men and 8 women teams.
Proceeds will benefit Riley Hospital for Children.
The entry fee is $200. Teams will hit their own ASA approved 52-300 balls. ASA bat rules apply – bats will be inspected.
A home run derby will be held at 1 p.m. that day. The cost is $20 per person. The home run limit is four per team per game and three players from each team can purchase home run bracelets for unlimited home runs for $20.
