  • 6:56 a.m. A driver reported a person in a white Ford truck with cab lights had been attempting to run him off the road northbound on State Road 37 from the Orange County line. He driver in the white Ford stopped his vehicle in the roadway and started a confrontation with the caller
  • 8:27 p.m. Request for animal control at State Road 158 and Fayetteville Williams Road for two German Shepherds running loose
  • 8:35 a.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle in the 8460 block of State Road 54 West at the Avoca post office
  • 8:38 a.m. Request for animal control to the 2010 block of Blue Springs Cavern Road. The neighbor is letting his rottweiler run loose
  • 10:17 a.m. Report of a syringe found in the alley in the 210 block of East Grissom Avenue
  • 10:41 a.m Request for animal control to the 9140 block of US 50 East for a German Shepherd running loose and aggressive and going after the caller’s chickens

  • 1:57 p.m. Report of a dog stuck on a cliff and needs rescued in the 350 block of The Woods. Oolitic VFD responded and retrieved the dog at 2:24 p.m.
  • 2:14 p.m. Request to speak to an officer about potential child pornography being sold in the area
  • 2:20 p.m. Request for animal control to the 60 block of Riggle Road for a potbelly pig in the caller’s field
  • 2:37 p.m. Officers made extra patrols in the 500 block of North Fifth Street. She believes someone had been in her house. She says she shut all her windows and the air units were off, but when she came home her house was cool and believes someone was in her house with the air on. But nothing seems to be damaged or missing
  • 2:43 p.m. Agency assist in the 680 block of Davey Cox Road
  • 2:44 p.m. Request for extra patrols at Stonington and Earl Road
  • 3:02 p.m. Agency assist int he 820 block of Trinton Circle
  • 3:04 p.m. Request for animal control in the 1270 block of Greer Lane. The caller is having a problem with the neighbor’s ducks coming over and eating the cat food
  • 3:07 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 100 block of South 8th Street
  • 3:13 p.m. Report of an erratic driver southbound in a blue Jeep on State Road 37. The caller says the driver has his foot outside of the vehicle and is worried it will hit the tire and he will be ripped out of the vehicle
  • 3:14 p.m. A woman reported she was stopped by who she thought was an officer who said he was going to mail her a citation but based on her description officers do not believe this was a real officer. There was also nothing in the computer systems about a ticket being issued to her. She is to contact police if she gets anything in the mail
  • 3:16 p.m. A person was on station to report a runaway
  • 3:28 p.m. Disabled vehicle at Tunnelton Road and Duncan Hill Lane
  • 3:59 p.m. Theft in the 180 block of Kozy Fireplace Road. The caller says his son is coming on his property and taking his tools, cabinets and other items to his property and to a friend
  • 4:01 p.m. Traffic stop at Springville Judah and Harrodsburg roads
  • 4:12 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1520 block of James Avenue. A customer fell and hit his head and was unconscious for a while
  • 4:30 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a green SUV with road rage at State Road 37 and Trogden Lane. The driver is weaving from lane to lane not letting anyone pass and then threw something like a milkshake out of the window at one of the vehicles. The vehicle turned off on Trogden Lane
  • 4:37 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1770 block of Rariden Hill. A 72-year-old female fell
  • 4:48 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Washboard Road
  • 5:24 p.m. Traffic stop at Springville Judah and Popcorn roads. A male was arrested
  • 5:31 p.m. Domestic fight in the 650 block of Vinegar Hill Road
  • 5:44 p.m. Warrant service in the 590 block of State Road 60 East
  • 5:47 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 690 block of Dixie Highway. It was a false alarm
  • 5:50 p.m. Traffic stop at Camelot Lane and Harrodsburg Road
  • 5:54 p.m. Traffic stop at Fifth and Grissom Avenue. A citation was issued for a seat belt violation
  • 6 p.m. Traffic stop at North 8th and West Main streets.
  • 6:02 p.m. Traffic stop at Moore Lane and Harrodsburg Road. A male was issued a summons to appear in court on a charge of possession of marijuana
  • 6:19 p.m. Controlled fire in the 280 block of Butterfly Lane
  • 6:26 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 1300 block of 22nd Street
  • 6:23 p.m. Warrant servi e in the 410 block of 7th Street
  • 6:42 p.m. 911 call reporting a disorented male at the fuel pumps at Jackson Mini Mart
  • 6:48 p.m. Traffic stop at North Second and Warren streets
  • 6:59 p.m. Traffic stop t Harrodsburg Road and Moore Lane. Citations were issued for seat belt violations
  • 7:03 p.m. 911 call from a resident in the 13440 bock of State Road 58 East wanting to report a missing person
  • 7:11 a.m. A male was on station to report a fraudulent check her received from a male selling a boat on eBay and it was a forged check
  • 7:19 p.m. Request for a welfare check on Tunnelton Road Road, north of the airport. A child was sitting in the weeds along the road. The child was found and taken home. Police spoke to the child’s mother. The mother knew the child was out taking a walk
  • 7:33 p.m. Request for animal control to the 100 block of Eastern Heights Drive for a pit bull running loose
  • 8:13 p.m. Domestic fight in the 110 block of Cedar Lane. The caller says her father is threatening her sister and mother. The father then stated his chest was hurting and an ambulance was summoned and the male was transported to a local hospital
  • 8:15 p.m. Traffic stop in the 90 block of Moore Lane
  • 8:23 p.m. Traffic stop at Harrodsburg and Springville Judah roads. A male was arrested
  • 8:29 p.m. Request for a welfare check on a possible suicidal teen in the 100 block of Teddy Bird Lane
  • 8:31 p.m. Traffic stop at Moore Lane and Harrodsburg Road. Summons were issued for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia
  • 9:31 p.m. An officer transported a juvenile from the detention center in Bartholomew County to a local hospital and then back to the detention center
  • 9:52 p.m. Citizen assist in the 780 block of Teke Burton Drive. The caller says his wife is not allowing him to see his children
  • 10:06 p.m. A male was on station to report a missing license plate
  • 10:31 p.m. Officers made extra patrols in the 390 block of Sasser Drive
  • 11:06 p.m. Request for an officer to the 810 block of Smith Road because his neighbor is blocking his driveway
  • 11:38 p.m. Officers made extra patrols in the 140 block of North Sixth Street in Mitchell

  • 12:34 a.m. Disabled vehicle at State Road 37 at the Avoca light
  • 12:47 a.m. Police made extra patrols in the 1630 block of Ridge Road
  • 1:35 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Stevens Lane
  • 1:46 a.m. Threats in the 1820 block of Stonington Road. Two men broke the mirror on the driver door of his ex-girlfriend’s vehicle as they were going opposite directions. They used a baseball bat to break the mirror. These same males have threatened to burn down their house and shoot them. The males are either in a white GMC Acadia or a White Chevy Avalance
  • 2:17 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Washboard Road
  • 2:26 a.m. Police were out with a vehicle at MidSouthern Savings parking lot. A person was asleep in their vehicle
  • 2:33 a.m. Police made extra patrols in Sasser Addition
  • 3:21 a.m. Report that the lights are going off on maintenance vehicles in the northbound lane of State Road 37, south of The Woods as if someone broke into them

  • 5:06 p.m. A caller reported while traveling on Stonington Road another vehicle ran them off the road and a branch broke the passenger side window and cause other damage to the vehicle
  • 10:56 p.m. Property damage accident int he 10180 block of Williams Road
