Bloomington Police Hosting National Night Out

(BLOOMINGTON) – On Tuesday, August 6th, 2019 the Bloomington Police Department is teaming up with The Warehouse for National Night Out. This free event will be held at The Warehouse, located at 1525 South Rogers Street, and will run from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

National Night Out is a nationwide initiative to bring police departments and communities together for a night of food and fun.

Attendees will enjoy free pizza courtesy of Pizza X and Bloomington North Rotary.

There will be an indoor playground as well as a boxing punch count challenge.

Refillable water bottles will be available along with a water filling station courtesy of the City of Bloomington Utilities.

Members of the Department’s Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT), Hostage Negotiation Team, Dive Team, and K9 will be present for attendees to meet.

There will also, be police vehicles on display as well as a fire truck from the Bloomington Fire Department.
