They had got now more than $200 in fees but is willing to let the buyer try again. No property had exchanged hands

  • 3:09 p.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 4620 block of Peerless Road. Police stopped the two males on North Pike Road. The males were waiting on a ride to Fayetteville. The males were told to keep the bolt out of the crossbow

  • 3:14 p.m. Lawrence County Personal Transport will be in the area of the gathering to transport people to and from the gather to Bedford for supplies

  • 3:49 p.m. Request for animal control to the 430 block of Sugar Hill for dogs running loose

  • 4:10 p.m. Citizen dispute between a tenant and landlord. The caller says her landlady walking into the residence and began yelling at them about stealing furniture and last night she tapped a not on the door saying they had 10 days to get out

  • 4:19 p.m. Officers were out with a person at Compton Apartments
  • 4:37 p.m. Report of illegal burning in the 210 block of Middle Avenue

  • 4:59 p.m. Burglary in the 2440 block of Harrodsburg Road. Someone broke into the callers home and stole around $1,000 in tools and painting supplies. A neighbor saw two males in the area last night
  • 5:07 p.m. A woman was at the Mitchell Police Department to speak to an officer about her neighbor that ran an extension cord from his house to her outbuilding. But now her bill is really high and she wanted the male to stop doing this but is afraid he will react in a negative way
  • 5:16 p.m. A 15-year-old female is on station wanted to speak to an officer about getting her belongings from her mother’s house. The female lives with her grandmother who has custody of her. The last time the female attempted to get her belongings her mother began throwing things and yelling
  • and threatening to harm people
  • 5:16 p.m. DCS request for a welfare check on a child in the 4550 block of Thralls Road. The home had a strong ammonia odor and the mother would not allow DCS upstairs in the home. Police said everything was fine at the home
  • 5:58 p.m. Request for animal control to the 910 block of Thompson Lane. The neighbor’s dog is killing his cats
  • 6:07 p.m. Threats in the 500 block of State Road 37 at Crossroads Church. A female was crying and having problems with her son. The male showed up at the church and told his mother to get in the car. The male and female were not at their home on Trogdon Lane. The caller is afraid the male will hurt his mother. Police located both and the woman reported her son was just having a bad day

  • 6:45 p.m. Domestic fight in the 4410 block of Leesville Road

  • 7:03 p.m. Report a female overdosed on North Seventh and West Main streets behind the flea market
  • 7:07 p.m. Theft of a motorcycle on East Oolitic and Peerless roads. The caller says a male in a green shirt and jeans stole his bike and is northbound on Peerless Road. The caller is in a blue Ford
  • 7:30 p.m. Request for a welfare check on a male in the 1820 block of Stonington Road
  • 7:51 p.m. Traffic stop at Sieboldt Quarry and Harrodsburg Road
  • 7:53 p.m. 911 call reporting three horses running loose at 29th and X Streets
  • 8:03 p.m. Report of a young girl seven or eight years old walking down the road crying and looking for her mother in the 130 block of Vinegar Hill Road. The father of the child was located and DCS was notified

  • 8:56 p.m. Officers were out with a person at West Warren Street
  • 9:27 p.m. Domestic fight in the 170 block of Mundell Estates. A male and female are screaming at each other and threatening to shoot each other. They both got in different vehicles and left in a silver SUV the other in a maroon SUV both went westbound on West Powerline Road. Police stopped one vehicle and was told by the female it was just a verbal fight and the male is going to leave for a few days
  • 9:30 p.m. Traffic stop at Doc Hamilton Boulevard and State Road 37
  • 9:31 p.m. Report of an intoxicated male at the Dollar General Store on Hoosier Avenue. The male had urinated in the parking lot
  • 9:39 p.m. Agency assist at State Road 37 and Trogdon Lane
  • 11:16 p.m. Report of a house on fire in the 3540 block of Old Farm Road. The fire is in a bedroom and bathroom. The resident is standing by the roadway

  • 12:17 a.m. Traffic stop at Morningside Drive and Springville Judah Road
  • 12:25 a.m. Medical emergency in the 2040 block of Plaza Drive. A person fell
  • 12:40 a.m. Report of four males in a fight at Old State Road 37 and Judah Logan Road. The caller says four males started a fight with him and he believes his jaw is broken but does not want medical attention. The males are in a blue Toyota Tundra. Officers took one male to Briarwood Apartments. This fight was between two juveniles over a dispute over SnapChat. One juvenile punched the other male. The parent of one juvenile got involved and was hit. They declined to press charges. Officers spoke to all involved
  • 1:07 a.m. Report of an erratic driver an Enterprise truck rental semi northbound on State Road 37
  • 1:36 a.m. Report a Nintendo was stolen from a home in the 320 block of Bartlett Drive
  • 1:36 a.m. Officers made extra patrols at Valley Mission Church
  • 1:50 a.m. Agency assist in the southbound lane of State Road 37, south of Washboard Road
  • 2:52 a.m. A resident in the 9420 block of Tunnelton Road reported they had been threatened
