(BEDFORD) – State highway officials say State Road 58 near Bedford will be closed for one day for a drainage culvert replacement project.
The Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews will close State Road 58 From Stars Boulevard to State Road 446 to replace a drainage structure beneath the highway.
The closure is expected to last about a day depending on weather conditions. Rain could cause the project to be pushed to a different date.
Work is expected to begin after the morning peak times and end before evening peak times.
All through traffic will need to use the official detour following State Road 37 and US 50 East.
INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert near crews.
