(SALEM) – At the recent board retreat, the Awareness Washington County Board of Directors unanimously voted to hire Deni Stempowski for the position of Executive Director.
Stempowski, formerly from northern Ohio, has been a resident of Washington County for seven years. She works for the Sheriff’s Department as a dispatcher and computer administrator.
“I am a proud graduate of the class of 2019,” Stempowski said. “It is truly an honor to become the Executive Director of such a wonderful organization that strives to better Washington County through Servant Leadership!”
Co-directors of the adult class Cheryl Lee and Marji Morris will continue in that position, facilitating adult class sessions.
