  • 4:10 p.m. Disabled vehicle in the southbound lane of State Road 37 causing a hazard. The vehicle has a flat tire
  • 4:18 p.m. A syringe was found in a yard in the 1140 block of West Main Street in Mitchell
  • 4:45 p.m. Burglary in the 1120 block of North 8th Street in Mitchell. While a woman was at work someone entered her home through a bedroom window. They removed an air conditioning unit to get in. A watch and some jewelry were missing

  • 7:30 p.m. Medical emergency in the 630 block of Benham Lane. A female was extremely dizzy and unable to walk
  • 7:39 p.m. Theft in the first block of Meridian Street. The caller says his license plate was stolen off his truck
  • 7:43 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 1540 block of South Leatherwood Road

  • 8:17 p.m. Medical emergency in the 2630 block of Dixie Highway. An 84-year-old female was ill
  • 8:41 p.m. St. Vincent Dunn Emergency room reported they are treating a female who was involved in a domestic fight. The woman has neck and wrist injuries
  • 8:41 p.m. Traffic stop in the 390 block of East Oolitic Road
  • 9:30 p.m. Report of a truck parked close to the roadway causing a hazard on State Road 54 West, on the east side of Avoca Mini Mart
  • 9:32 p.m. A female was on station to report a sex offense on behalf of her 12-year-old daughter
  • 9:45 p.m. Animal control to the 210 block of Candlelight Lane in Oolitic for a dog roaming loose
  • 10:03 p.m. Warrant service in the 780 block of Teke Burton Drive. A male was arrested
  • 10:12 p.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle in the 4030 block of Old State Road 37. Someone in a tan beat up car is looking inside of people’s vehicles. Police will make extra patrols
