  • 6:50 a.m. Disabled vehicle at State Road 37 at the overpass
  • 7:40 a.m. Report of an erratic driver in a green Ford Taurus at Boyd Lane and Miami Drive
  • 8:54 a.m. Lift assist in the 84 block of Smith Avenue. A 70-year-old male fell
  • 9:07 a.m. Report of an erratic driver in a red truck pulling a trailer at State Road 60 East at the Orange County line
  • 9:38 a.m. Report of a fire in the 220 block of North Third Street in Mitchell. Smoke was coming from lights
  • 9:50 a.m. Medical emergency in the 1210 block of 13th Street. An 85-year-old female was having trouble breathing
  • 10:09 a.m. Medical emergency in the 3210 block of Shawnee Driver. A person was having a seizure
  • 10:18 a.m. Officers made extra patrols on Dale Street
  • 11:21 a.m. Controlled fire in the 3580 block of Old Farm Road
  • 11:45 a.m. A resident in the 290 block of Burkwood Hills reported he witnessed a man standing at the street corner touching himself while watching his neighbor’s teenage son mowing the yard. The male got into a black Expedition and took off. The caller followed the man and lost him on Gas Line Road
  • 12:39 p.m. Police made extra patrols in the 380 block of Knobb Creek Road
  • 12:40 p.m. Request for a welfare check on two very young children playing and one has a knife in the 1200 block of West Warren Street.
  • 12:45 p.m. A resident in the 400 block of Alissa Lane in Heltonville reported he received a call from a male who said he was a sergeant with the Sheriff’s Department and wanted his date of birth and Social Security number. The male gave out the information and the officer then got mad at him and hung up. There were not sergeants currently working at the department
  • 12:59 p.m. Report of a teenager on top of a Mini Cooper going down the road in the 2250 block of Avoca Eureka Road headed toward Patton Hill
  • 12:59 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1130 block of Stevens Lane. A 79-year-old fell
  • 1:05 p.m. Request for animal control to the 110 block of Poplar View after a female was bitten by her roommate’s dog. The woman who was bitten was being treated at IU Health Hospital. The female was bitten on her left index finger. Police say a litter of six pitbull puppies tried to get at the female’s cat and one of the puppies bite the female
  • 1:07 p.m. Request for animal control to the 1450 block of Trogdon Lane. The neighbor’s dog is coming into her yard and chasing her chickens
  • 2:13 p.m. Warrant service in the 510 block of South Mississippi Avenue in Mitchell
  • 2:20 p.m. Warrant service in the 440 block of 9th Street in Mitchell
  • 2:26 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 320 block of West Warren Street
  • 2:38 p.m. Request for animal control to the 1900 block of West Powerline Road after their neighbor’s pit bull come on their property and killed their cat
  • 3:09 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a grey Mazda at State Road 37 at the Oolitic light driving through Oolitic speeding and yelling at people
  • 3:17 p.m. Disabled vehicle at State Road 37 and River Bridge Road
  • 3:21 p.m. Traffic stop at Doc Hamilton Boulevard and Rabbitsville Road
  • 3:28 p.m. Citizen assist in the 100 block of Beanie Deckard Road after finding a dead cat in her driveway
  • 4:09 p.m. Traffic stop in the 2830 block of State Road 446
  • 3:47 p.m. Medical emergency in the 8370 block of State Road 54 West. A woman was having heart problems

  • 3:52 p.m. Request for a welfare check on a possibly suicidal male walking southbound on State Road 37 from Ben’s Quarry. The male was given a ride to his mother’s house in Bedford
  • 4:04 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1430 block of Greer Lane. A 67-year-old female fell
  • 4:10 p.m. Disabled vehicle at State Road 37 and Old State Road 37
  • 4:20 p.m. 911 call at Chapel Hill Road in Monroe County with the caller screaming help me. The call was transferred to Monroe County Police
  • 4:21 p.m. Theft in the 530 block of Marion Street in Mitchel. A child’s bike was stolen
  • 4:27 p.m. Medical emergency in the 30 block of Kings Ridge Road. A female was having a seizure
  • 4:48 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a black Chrysler Sebring in the 6120 block of US 50 East at Farmers Market
  • 4:57 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 320 block of West Warren Street in Mitchell
  • 5 p.m. Request for animal control to the 1200 block of Stevens Lane after the neighbor’s dogs killed 8 of her chickens

  • 5:57 p.m. Report of a female juvenile ran away from home about a week ago in the 560 block of Judah Logan Road and she was found in Owen County and now she is out of control again and would like an officer to speak to the female

  • 1:02 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at Salt Creek bridge
  • 1:02 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 58 at Dishmasters
  • 1:44 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols at Speedway after two vehicles pulled up to gas pumps and were just sitting there
  • 2:35 a.m. Report of an erratic driver in a black car northbound on State Road 37. The vehicle is now on Mitchell Road. Bedford Police was alerted and stopped the vehicle
  • 2:37 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols at Speedway
  • 2:46 a.m. Traffic stop on US 50 West at the fairgrounds
  • 2:47 a.m. Traffic stop in the 3040 block of Old State Road 37
  • 2:58 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols at Pride Estates and Valley Mission Church
