(BEDFORD) – The Indiana Department of Transportation announced a road closure on State Road 58 for a drainage culvert replacement project near Bedford.
Beginning on or around Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019 INDOT Maintenance crews will close State Road 58 from Stars Boulevard to State Road 446 to replace a drainage structure beneath the highway.
The closure is expected to last for about a day depending upon weather conditions. Rain could cause the project to be pushed to a different date.
During the closure, motorists will have access up to the point of closure.
Work is expected to begin after morning peak times and end before evening peak times. All through traffic will need to use the official detour following State Road 37 and US 50.
INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert near crews.
