June Elliott, 92, of Bedford, passed away at 9:30 a.m. on July 23, 2019, at her residence.
Born in Lawrence County on April 2, 1927 to Whitcomb Wayne & Crystal Mae (Kern) Baker, she married Lester Eugene Neff who preceded her in death in January of 1961. She then married William David Elliott and he survives.
June was a graduate of the Fayetteville High School class of 1945, was formerly employed at Bedford Building Supply and retired from Stackpole Corporation in Bloomington.
June is survived by her husband Bill; Her children Barbara Sue Wells of Bedford; Leonard Wayne (Brenda) Neff of Bedford; John Everett Neff of Bedford; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; Her sister Janet Sue Baker; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Lester Neff; 2 grandchildren; and her brother James Baker.
Graveside services for June Elliott will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Green Hill Cemetery in Bedford with Rick Leach officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Central Church of Christ in Bedford through Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes who is handling arrangements.
