(MITCHELL) – Another candidate has filed for Mitchell City Council District 1 Race.
Remedios “Remy” Shickles, Independent, has filed for Mitchell City Council District 1.
According to Heather dela Cruz from Lawrence County Voter Registration, she turned in sufficient number of signatures and completed the candidate paperwork to appear on the ballot in November.
She will face off with Michele “Wolfong” Smith, a Republican, and Larry Caudell, a Democrat, in the Mitchell District 1 City Council race.
