Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch Makes Historic $1 Million Transfer to Governor Holcomb’s Campaign

(INDIANAPOLIS) – In the final days of a robust fundraising period for the Holcomb-Crouch campaign, Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch has transferred a historic $1 million from her campaign account into the Eric Holcomb for Indiana campaign account. She announced this impressive accomplishment yesterday at a Team Holcomb fundraising event that separately raised another $1 million in a single night.

“As Indiana’s lieutenant governor, I’m proud of the results Governor Holcomb and I are delivering for Hoosiers of all walks of life,” said Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch. “We’re working hard to create opportunities for Hoosiers as we renew our commitment to job creation, smart investment, and education policy. Our state’s greatest challenges are our biggest focus. And with that focus in mind, I’m proud to have this historic outpouring of support from Hoosiers across the state for our efforts.”

This incredible momentum leading up to Governor Holcomb’s “major announcement” on Saturday, July 13 follows a historic 2018 for fundraising. The campaigns of Governor Holcomb, Lt. Governor Crouch and the Indiana Republican Party posted a combined $5.745 million cash on hand at the end of 2018, which was more than any previous combined total following a governor’s second year in office. To date, Lt. Governor Crouch had previously transferred $400,000 in contributions to Governor Holcomb’s campaign account.

“Indiana has a dream team leading our state with Governor Holcomb and Lt. Governor Crouch,” said Kyle Hupfer, treasurer of the Eric Holcomb for Indiana campaign. “Governor Holcomb and Lt. Governor Crouch are setting records for Hoosiers on every front, whether it’s new job commitments, skilling-up our workforce or attacking the opioid crisis.”
