Fever Overcome 22-Point Deficit, Lose Late to Lynx

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) – Despite blowing a 22-point lead the Minnesota Lynx held on to a 78-74 win over the Indiana Fever.

Odyssey Sims scored 25 points, including two key free throws in the final 29 seconds to help Minnesota avoid disaster. Sims would add seven rebounds, seven assists and five steals as Minnesota shot over 46 percent from the field.

For the Fever, a slow start doomed them as they score just 23 points in the first half. Kelsey Mitchell led Indiana with 17 points while Erica Wheeler added 13.

The Fever have their last two games and six of their last eight. They’ll try to break out of their funk on Friday when they visit the Phoenix Mercury.
