(BEDFORD) – Work on the Boiler stack at the Hauck House is now complete. Several months ago it was discovered that holes were located in the stack, creating some hazards.
The emergency repairs came to a cost of $15,870.
Sewer work was also complete in the 1132 block of K Street prevent back-ups and flooding in the building.
Carpet has been laid and finished at the South Entrance to the Hauck House.
Officials say there still remains a huge waiting list for housing. The requests for vouchers and apartments continue to grow.
