(MARTINSVILLE) – Traffic conditions on State Road 37 in the Martinsville construction zone will be changing as crews continue working to replace drainage structures at Grand Valley Boulevard and begin construction of the overpass.
On or after Monday, June 17, 2019, both northbound and southbound State Road 37 will be open to two lanes of traffic, with one dedicated left turn lane from southbound State Road 37 onto Grand Valley Boulevard. The two northbound lanes will shift to the left and be placed on new pavement through the Grand Valley Boulevard intersection.
The speed limit throughout the construction zone remains 45 mph. Drivers are encouraged to put cell phones down and drive with no distractions. All work and traffic changes are weather dependent, this schedule is subject to change.
