Teen Injured in Fight Over Girl, Two Arrested

(BLOOMINGTON) – Two men were arrested after they injured an 18-year-old male during a fight over a girl on Friday night.

Bloomington Police officers were called to the 1400 block of West 13th Street around 10:24 p.m.

When they arrived bystanders directed them to a male who was bleeding from a cut on his face. Officers then called for medical assistance.

The male told police that a group of men had approached him and told him not to speak to girls in their neighborhood and accused the teen of making lewd comments to one of the men’s younger sisters.

One of the men pushed the teen to the ground, causing him to hit his head so hard he lost consciousness.

The teen then attempted to get to his feet and run but fell. That is when Miles Sealy jumped on him and started hitting him.

Police later located 22-year-old Sealy. Sealy resisted officers during the incident. He was arrested on charges of battery and resisting arrest. Officials then located 20-year-old Danel Miller and arrested him on a charge of battery.
