  • 5:12 a.m. Officers were out with a vehicle at State Road 37 and West Main Street in Mitchell. An Amish buggy full of people went through the red light and was almost struck by a vehicle. The buggy was last seen traveling southbound on State Road 37
  • 6:05 a.m. Report of illegal dumping in the 4560 block of Old Farm Road
  • 8:36 a.m. A resident in the 1810 block of N Street reported their border collie was missing
  • 9:24 a.m. Curry Street between 7th and 8th streets in Mitchell was closed to do work on a power pole
  • 9:27 a.m. Agency assist on a traffic stop at Lafayette Avenue between Fifth and Sixth streets in Oolitic.The marshall was requesting a canine
  • 9:31 a.m. A caller reported she hit a deer yesterday and thought it was dead and returned today and it was still alive near the side of the road. A baby deer was taken to the humane society and DNR is attempting to get the animal help
  • 9:33 a.m. 911 call at US 50 West at the Martin County line. It was an accidental call
  • 10:42 a.m. Report of an erratic driver in a semi tanker westbound on US 50 East at Shawswick Station Road

  • 8:51 p.m. Report the stop lights are out on both sides of State Road 37 and State Road 60 East
  • 8:58 p.m. Repossession in the 2580 block of Harrodsburg Road
  • 9:21 p.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 120 block of Pumpkin Drive. The caller says someone heard someone on his front porch and found a male rummaging through items on his porch. The male then asked if the place was for rent. The caller told the male no and the male walked toward a two-toned red and white Dodge pickup and hollared for a female who came from the front of the house carrying a tarp and other things and they left
  • 9:08 p.m. Report of high water at Huron Williams Road and US 50 West and he is unable to get back on Huron Williams Road to cut a tree that is down.
  • 9:15 p.m. A resident in the 700 block of Riley Boulevard reported her ex-husband took their two children to Chicago without her permission and she wants this information logged for furture reference
  • 9:34 p.m. Domestic fight in the 700 block of Main Street. A male reported a female had him and pushed him. The female could be heard yelling in the background. The female was arrested
  • 11:13 p.m. Traffic hazard in the 310 block of Kings Ridge Road
  • 11:19 p.m. Controlled fire in the 40 block of Russell Drive
  • 11:22 p.m. Report of tree on a home in the 900 block of Lawrence Street
  • 11:28 p.m. 911 call in the 300 block of Shawnee Lane. Bedford Police was alerted

  • 1:54 a.m. Report of power lines hanging about four feet off the groun on 11th STreet between Tulip and Orchard streets in Mitchell
  • 4:38 a.m. Domestic fight at Persimmon Park Apartments. A woman reported she and her mother got into a fight over Carmax lip balm and her mothr hit her in the chest. The woman does not want to file chages and is leaving and will come back when her mother sobers up
