GM To Host Public Information Meeting On Environmental Investigation And Cleanup

(BEDFORD) – As part of General Motor’s ongoing commitment to keep the public informed as they progress through the
environmental investigation and cleanup at and near the Bedford Plant, the public is invited to a general information session on Wednesday, June 12, at 6 p.m.

The meeting will be held at a GM owned home at 305 Bailey Scales Road, situated at the corner of Bailey Scales Road and Barlow Lane.

Parking will be available along Barlow Lane and in the gravel area adjacent to the house.

At this session, officials will provide an update of the project and allow people to visit one-on-one with the project team to talk about specific, individual issues.

Ed Peterson, Senior Project Manager, Remediation Services says this presentation will address any questions and concerns the public may have about the cleanup and provide amply opportunity to ask additional questions.

These information sessions are part of GM’s community outreach efforts to keep the public in the community informed regarding the project and to provide them with an opportunity to tell officials what’s on your mind.

As always, information regarding the project is always available at www.BedfordPowertrainCorrectiveAction.com.
