(BEDFORD) – Each year, Bedford North Lawrence recognizes a teacher, presenting them the Larry Allen Teacher of the Year Award.
BNL students are asked to nominate a teacher who had a positive impact on them, a teacher that made a difference, a teacher that made them want to learn.
This year the 2019 Larry Allen Teacher of the Year is Mrs. Lacy Hawkins.
Hawkins teaches history at BNL and has been teaching the subject for 10 years. She also is the president of the North Lawrence Education Association.
Congratulations Mrs. Hawkins for being outstanding!
