Green Spicer, Jr. – Mitchell

February 4, 1933 – May 25, 2019

Green Spicer, Jr., 86, of Mitchell, died at 3:40 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2019, at Mitchell Manor.

Born February 4, 1933, in Lepsic, KY, he was the son of Green and Cappie Spicer. He married Edna M. Wagner and
she preceded him in death. He was a diesel mechanic and retired from A&H Trucking after thirty years. He later
worked for Bedford Trucking. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include children, Chasity Spicer Borum of Savannah, GA, Sharon M. Mullis, of Oolitic, Billy Super, of
Bedford, and Melissa Acton, of CA; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; a brother, Raymond Spicer, of
Bedford; a sister, Effie Smith, of Mitchell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two sons, Warren Green and Jeffrey Dean Spicer; several brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 30th at Beech Grove Cemetery with Brian Bolton officiating and where military rites will be accorded by members of Gillen Post #33 American Legion.
