(WHITE CO.) – Search underway for man missing in Tippecanoe River.
Indiana Conservation Officers have responded to the Tippecanoe River just south of the Norway Dam in White County for a man missing in the water.
At approximately 8:20 a.m., officers were dispatched to the area of the Tippecanoe River near Monticello for a kayaker who was observed going under the water and not resurfacing. The search is ongoing.
The man has been identified as Terrance Williams, 52 of Indianapolis.
Officers are requesting any media responding to the area to stage at the Norway Public Access Site off of Francis Street in Monticello.
Indiana Conservation Officers are being assisted by the Monticello Fire Department.
