2019 Huron Memorial Day Festival Sunday & Monday

(HURON) – The 2019 Huron Memorial Day Festival is Sunday, May 26 – Monday, May 27 beginning at 9 a.m.


The opening ceremony will be at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
Tent vendors and food vendors will be open both days.
Free kids activities will be from 1:15 p.m. until 5:15 p.m. Parents must be present with their children. A special drawing for prizes will be at 5:15 p.m.
Corn hole tournament registration begins at 1 p.m. It is doubles only. Gameplay will be at 1:45 p.m. The entry fee is $12 per team. Prizes will be awarded.
Chuck Kruder will perform at 5:15 p.m. until 6 p.m. At 6 p.m. Bob Courson will deliver a special message to those attending. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the music.

On Sunday and Monday there will be a cakewalk both days, drawings, kids games, food, queen scholarship contest, prince/princess contest, Mini Mr./Mini Miss contest, baby contest, flea market, music, tractor/car show, and parade.
On Monday the baby contest registration will begin at 9 a.m. near the stage area. Judging will start around 10:15 a.m. Dress your child according to the weather. Winners of all royalty will be announced soon after the contest. A cakewalk, drawings, tractor/car show, vendors, music, and games will go on throughout the day until 2 p.m.
Ted and Connie Terrell will lead the parade beginning at 2 p.m. Monday.

After the parade, the baking contest winners will be announced.
No alcoholic beverages are allowed, and dogs must be on a leash.
