Luck Sitting Out Colts OTAs With Calf Strain

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) – As the Colts continue their offseason program with OTAs this week they’ll be missing their quarterback as Andrew Luck will sit out due to a calf strain.

Head coach Frank Reich said it was purely precautionary.
“He just tweaked it a little during a training session. We’re just going to be real conservative with any guy who has an issue. Our goal is to get everyone to training camp and full strength so we are going to be extra cautious with everyone.”
When it comes to newly signed quarterback Chad Kelly and his off-the-field issues, Reich said it’s all about learning from mistakes.
“We all make mistakes. Chad knows this is a second chance for him. He came in at mini-camp and looked good so we’re comfortable with it at this point.”
