Completion of New Daviess County Government Center Progressing Slowly

(WASHINGTON) – The new Daviess County Government Center is making slow but steady steps toward completion, but the Daviess County Commissioners says crews will not make the June 5th target date for completion.

It may take till the end of July or perhaps even August.
The main stumbling block is the stone exterior work, weather, and equipment delays.
Despite the delay, Commissioner Michael Taylor commented that it is essential to get the building “done right.”
