Zionsville Man Injured In Off-Road Vehicle Crash

(ZIONSVILLE) – Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating an off-road vehicle crash involving an injury that occurred on Wednesday night.


Conservation Officers and other first responders were dispatched to Bennington Drive in Zionsville in reference to an individual injured in a four-wheeler crash at 5:30 p.m.
59-year-old Douglas Tischbein of Zionsville lost control while driving a Honda ORV and was thrown from the machine. Douglas was not wearing a helmet or other safety gear at the time of the incident and sustained a laceration and abrasions to the head.
He was transported via ambulance to St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis for further treatment.
The investigating officer was Conservation Officer JA Peck. Assisting at the scene was Zionsville Police, Zionsville Fire/ EMS Station 91.
