(NEW ALBANY) – Klerner Lane reopened Tuesday afternoon over I-265 in New Albany after closing Monday evening due to damage sustained from an accident involving a large truck.
While all driving lanes are open and the overpass is safe for travel, lanes are shifted to avoid the damaged area of the overpass.
INDOT was able to complete an inspection Monday morning that revealed structural damage to the west side of the overpass. Repairs will be completed at a later date.
