Two Men Rob Three, Leaving One Injured In Robbery

(BLOOMINGTON) – Two men robbed three people and left one man injured early Thursday morning on the 300 block of West Riley Drive near Steak N’ Shake in Bloomington.


Bloomington Police say a 22-year-old woman woke at approximately 4:30 a.m. to two masked men entering her bedroom. She said the men tied her hands behind her back and took her phone.
The men left the woman alone in her room and entered another 22-year-old woman’s bedroom and demanded her phone and locked her inside.
The men proceeded to a third room pulled out a handgun and demanded cash from a 25-year-old man inside. The victim told police he attempted to take the gun, but the man hit him with it multiple times in the head and foot. He was taken to IU Health Bloomington Hospital with injuries to his face and head.
One of the women later reclaimed her phone by tracking it through an app after police say one of the men must have dropped it.
Police are looking for a heavier-set white male who was wearing a ski mask, forest green shirt, and dark gray pants. The other male suspect was wearing a dark or black mask.
