Second Annual Diaper Dash Saturday

(BLOOMINGTON) – More than 100 young families in the south-central region of Indiana are now part of the IU Health Community Health Nurse-Family Partnership program.

The program is a home-visiting program pairing first-time, low-income mothers with their own nurse to assist her through her pregnancy and until the child’s second birthday.
The program serves moms in Monroe, Lawrence, Orange, Greene, and Owen counties.
To raise money for the program the group is hosting the second annual Diaper Dash on Saturday, May 11.
Registration is at 9:30 a.m. at Emmanuel Church at 1503 West That Road in Bloomington with the run beginning at 10 a.m.
The cost is $25.
Participants can race, or enjoy themselves at their own pace by choosing to register for either the 5K run course or the 1K walk course.
