Jackson County Antique Machinery Show May 9-11

(BROWNSTOWN) – The 10th Annual Jackson County Antique Machinery Show runs Thursday through Saturday at the Jackson County Fairgrounds in Brownstown.


This year’s event will feature the Massey Ferguson brand, including Massey Harris, Massey Ferguson, and Ferguson tractors and other farm machinery, although all makes and models are welcome to exhibit. The event will also celebrate Cummins Engine’s 100th anniversary.

The event will open at 9 a.m. Thursday with a prayer and the national anthem. A tractor drive will follow at 10 a.m. Friday’s highlights include a silent auction, a garden tractor pull at 6 p.m., a free ham and bean dinner at 6 p.m., and Midwest Station concert at 7 p.m. Saturday will feature tractor games at 10 a.m., kids pedal pull at 11 a.m. and an antique tractor pull at 1 p.m.

There will be a swap meet and flea market as well as live demonstrations daily, including blacksmithing and basket weaving; local food vendors, a toy show and a barrel train.

The show will be at the Jackson County Fairgrounds, 476 E. County Road 100 South, Brownstown. County Road 100 South junctions with State Road 250, about a mile east of the caution light with U.S. 50.
There is a $2 donation at the gate, and veterans get free admission Thursday.
