Exxie M. (Bolton) Daugherty died Friday, May 3, 2019, at Stonebridge Health in Bedford.
Born May 13, 1925, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Wesley and Anna Crane Bolton.
Exxie was married to Verlin George, Frank ( Bud ) Delaney, Miles Bowman, and Russell Daugherty, all of them preceding her in death.
She retired from General Motors Powertrain after 30 years of service and was a member of Restoration Nazarene Church. She very much enjoyed fellowship with the Silver Bells ladies from the church and traveling to new destinations.
Survivors include one grandson, Troy E. Stotts and his wife, Denise of Bedford, IN, several stepchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Roberta (Bertie) Stotts, one granddaughter, Michelle Stotts; six brothers, Arthur, Everett, Roscoe, Rex, Emery, and Guy Bolton, and two sisters, Elsie Turpen and Evadna Cummings.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8 at Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes with Pastor Ken Bushey officiating. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday, May 8. Burial will be at Green Hill Cemetery.
