Greene County Man Arrested After Driving 90 MPH In 35 MPH Zone

(BLOOMFIELD) – A Greene County man was arrested after police say he was traveling 90 miles an hour in a 35 mile per hour zone, lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a utility pole near the intersection of West Main and North Cleveland streets in Bloomfield early Monday morning.


According to Bloomfield Deputy Marshal Jordan Allor, 20-year-old Steven Taylor II lost control of his vehicle near the intersection of West Main and John streets and then collided with the pole near the intersection of West Main and North Cleveland streets.
Police says Taylor suffered minor injuries and requested to be taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Police say Taylor is facing criminal charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, reckless driving and possibly other charges.
Assisting at the scene were deputies from the Greene County Sheriff’s Department, Indiana State Police troopers and a Greene County Ambulance Service crew.
