Paoli Man Arrested on Drug Charges

(PAOLI) – In early April, Paoli Police Department Officers began an investigation into the distribution and sale of prescription narcotics within the Town of Paoli. A significant amount of information was gathered from an earlier case and subsequent arrest of a Paoli man, who was charged with dealing meth.


After a thorough investigation, enough probable cause was developed to obtain search warrants for two separate residences. The locations of these residences were 534 North County Road 200 North Lot 9 and 112 Linden Street Apt 5, both located in Paoli.
At approximately 9:30 p.m. on April 16th, two teams of Paoli Police Officers executed the search warrants at the respective residences. As a result of the searches, Officers located and seized several controlled substances (morphine, methadone, hydrocodone, clonazepam), marijuana, approximately $600 cash, smartphones, hypodermic needles, and other drug paraphernalia. The seized currency will be requested for forfeiture.

Police arrested 54-year-old Donnie “Geno” Patton, of Paoli, on charges of dealing in a Schedule II controlled substance, Level 5 felony, unlawful possession of a hypodermic needle, Level 6 Felony, possession of marijuana, Class B Misdemeanor.
Arrest warrant requests will be submitted to the Orange County Prosecutor’s Office for the other individuals involved in this case. Those arrests are forthcoming.
Once again, these arrests stand to reflect the Paoli Police Department’s strong commitment to bringing to justice those who distribute these dangerous drugs in our town and to our citizens. We are and will remain determined to disrupt the sale of methamphetamine and other dangerous drugs within the Town of Paoli. We continue to work closely with our local law enforcement partners to investigate, arrest, and criminally hold those accountable for committing illegal
drug offenses within Paoli and throughout Orange County.
