(BEDFORD) – A Bedford man was arrested after a domestic fight was reported in the 190 block of Briarwood Lane at 9:17 p.m.
A male told the dispatcher his brother had punched him.
“When officers arrived they learned the victim had told 27-year-old William Word III to be quiet while he was shouting at his wife,” Chief Deputy Aaron Shoults says. “The suspect then hit the victim on his left jaw with his hand.”
Word, of 199 Briarwood Lane, was arrested on a charge of battery resulting in bodily injury.
