K-9 Finds Missing Female With Dementia

(WASHINGTON CO.) – On Friday, April 5, at approximately 12:30 a.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Department Deputies Brad Naugle and Allen Taylor responded to the area of Old State Road 56 East, after a report of a missing elderly female with dementia.


When the deputies arrived at the home on East Old State Road 56, the learned the 84-year-old female has been missing for about two hours.
The deputies contacted Salem Police Department officer Eric Mills and his K-9 partner Prigo.

The two located the elderly woman after tracking her for about 10 minutes.
The woman was found safe but wet from the rain, walking on a farm just east of her home.
