(SALEM) – Greg McCurdy was named the 2019 Indiana Small and Rural Schools Teacher of the Year in a ceremony at Salem High School Friday.
McCurdy will receive a check from Indiana Farm Bureau for $1,000. Superintendent Dr. Lynn Reed recognized McCurdy’s talent for detail and his planning skills.
He has been involved in school, city and state activities in his role as science teacher. He has been a teacher for 42 years.
