(BEDFORD) – A meet-and-greet event aimed at introducing township government to Lawrence County residents is set for 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, April 11 at the Bedford First Baptist Church at 1515 20th Street.
Light refreshments will be served.
Shawswick Township Trustee Millard Jones is organizing the event and gathering his fellow trustees for the public meet-and-greet. The goal is to allow the public to ask questions and learn what the trustees do.
Many township board members will also be at the event.
Each trustee will have copies of the township’s financial report available for citizens to review.
