Entries Being Accepted For 51st Annual Orleans Dogwood Parade

(ORLEANS) – Entries are now being accepted for the upcoming 51st Annual Orleans Dogwood Parade, set for Saturday, April 27th beginning at 2 p.m. Categories include floats, political, walking, equestrian, classic and/or antique vehicles, bands and others.


This year’s theme celebrates 50 years of fun & memories with “Celebrating the Blossom for a Season-Celebrating the Memories for a Lifetime.
The 51st annual festival is slated for April 20-27 in and around Orleans.

Longtime art educator Dr. Leah Morgan has been named the grand marshal of the Orleans Dogwood Festival Parade.
The parade will start from the Orleans Jr-Sr. High School, located on the north edge of town. The school traditionally serves as the staging area for the event. Line-up begins at 11 a.m. and continues until 1 p.m. Judging of units begins at approximately 1 p.m.
The parade travels down Maple St. (S.R. 37 S.) and through the historic downtown area.
