  • 10:36 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols on Yockey Road because of extra traffic on the road due to construction

  • 11:58 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols at BNL High School
  • 1:16 p.m. Medical emergency in the 190 block of HelMar Drive. A female had fallen
  • 1:23 p.m. Controlled fire in the 12320 block of Williams Road
  • 1:24 p.m. Request for animal control to the 20 block of Grace Lane because the neighbor’s husky is loose again. A citation was issued to Ross Barnes for animal running at large
  • 1:49 p.m. Report of a large piece of machinery destroying all the construction barriers northbound on State Road 37 from Kentucky Fried Chicken in Mitchell
  • 2:08 p.m. Erratic driver in a large fertilizer truck on State Road 450 in the area of Rocky’s Auto
  • 2:25 p.m. Citizen assist in the 170 block of Dale Street
  • 2:40 p.m. Report of an erratic driver on State Road 37 and Washboard Road
  • 3:28 p.m. Officers were out with a person at Plaza Court
  • 3:34 p.m. Request for animal control in the 430 block of Sugar Hill Addition for a stray beagle
  • 4:48 p.m. Animal control requested to the 740 block of East Grissom Road. The caller says a small chihuahua mix was killing her chickens
  • 4:53 p.m. Report of harassment in the 1500 block of Old State Road 60 West. The caller says a female is harassing him by driving by the house and flipping him off. The vehicle is owned by both the female and him and she had another male in the vehicle and if the male steps foot on his property he will “beat his a**” if he catches him in the vehicle with the female
  • 4:59 p.m. Traffic stop in the 1240 block of West Main Street in the Rulers parking lot in Mitchell
  • 5:04 p.m. Controlled fire in the 3100 block of Rager Road
  • 5:22 p.m. Officers made extra patrols on Yockey Road
  • 5:28 p.m. Juvenile problem in the 5610 block of Port Williams Road. A 16-year-old female was out of control and threating to hit the caller. The juvenile left the home walking on US 50 towards Bedord. The juvenile was found on Kings Ridge Road and US 50 and was taken home
  • 5:40 p.m. Request for animal control at BNL High School. Cattle were out on State Road 58
  • 6:33 p.m. Traffic stop in the 10 block of Brick Street in Springville. A big truck was parked too close to the highway on State Road 54. The department has received several complaints regarding the vehicle over the past month. Police say the truck was parked legally in a driveway
  • 6:54 p.m. Medical emergency in the 400 block of North Shawswick Station. The caller says their friend is unresponsive. The 63-year-old female has just finished radiation and is a diabetic and been sick with the flu
  • 7:20 p.m. Vandalism of Brown Street
  • 7:29 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a silver car and a silver truck racing and passing on the double yellow line on US 50 at D&D Star Stop
  • 8:02 p.m. Unwanted person in the 320 block of Bartlett Drive. The caller says a female had broken into the house. Police say both caller and the female are legal occupants of the home
  • 8:45 p.m. 911 hang-up call at East Oolitic Road. The dispatcher texted the caller and a female motorist reported another vehicle had ran them off the road
  • 9:16 p.m. Agency assist at Teke Burton Drive and West Main Street
  • 9:37 p.m. Agency assist in the 8980 block of State Road 450 in Martin COunty. A 53-year-old female had fallen and was complaining of pain. Indian Creek VFD was then told to disregard Shoals VFD was on the scene
  • 9:56 p.m. A male as on station with his daughter to report an incident that happened at BNL High School. The two were told to report it to the school resource officer
  • 10:13 p.m. Citizen dispute in the 1450 block of Norman Road. The caller says his sister is threatening to get rid of his stuff from the home he has been kicked out of. The sister agreed to let him come out tomorrow and get his belongings
  • 10:36 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at the Sinclair station

  • 12:32 a.m. A deputy transported an inmate to the hospital for treatment
  • 2:35 a.m. A deputy assisted Indiana State Police on a traffic stop at State Road 37 and State Road 60 East
  • 3:46 a.m. Noise complaint in the 910 block of Walnut Street in Oolitic. The caller says the neighbor’s dogs will not stop barking. The owner put the dogs up for the night

  • 6:20 a.m. Car/deer accident on State Road 60 at Spring Mill State Park
  • 6:28 a.m. Property damage accident on Old State Road 37 at the Lawrence/Monroe County line. The motorist had struck furniture in the roadway
