(BLOOMINGTON) – A 24-year-old Bloomington man was arrested Friday night after an argument and allegedly shooting at two people at South Winslow Court apartments.
A resident called Bloomington Police reporting that they saw Davon Thomas shoot at a man and woman and then run toward a black SUV.
Thomas was arrested on charges of criminal recklessness, criminal mischief and having a handgun without a permit.
Thomas told police he had been at the apartment complex visiting his children’s mother when he heard a commotion outside and saw someone else with a gun running away. He denied owning a gun.
Police searched the apartment and found a gun and magazine hidden in the dishwasher. A bullet casing outside matched the ammunition from the gun.
The two people Thomas allegedly shot at were not injured.
